Getting Started
How to Register
- Visit the Registration page
- Fill in your details (name, year of passing, class, contact information)
- Upload a profile photo (optional but recommended)
- Submit the form for verification
- Wait for admin approval (usually within 2-3 business days)
- Check your email for login credentials once approved
Setting Up Your Profile
- Log in to your account after approval
- Navigate to Profile Settings
- Add your education history, current employment, and achievements
- Set your privacy preferences for profile visibility
- Add social media links to connect with fellow alumni

Password & Login Issues
Forgot your password?
Click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page and follow the email instructions to reset it.
Can't log in?
Ensure your account has been approved by checking your email. If you still can't log in, contact support.
Account locked?
After multiple failed login attempts, your account may be temporarily locked. Wait 30 minutes or contact support.
Updating Your Information
- Go to Profile Settings from your dashboard
- Edit any section (personal info, education, work experience)
- Click Save Changes to update your profile
- Profile updates are reflected immediately
Privacy & Data Management
- Control who can see your profile information in Privacy Settings
- Choose which alumni can contact you directly
- Opt out of non-essential email notifications
- Request account deletion by contacting support
- Download your data by requesting a copy from support

Search and connect with fellow alumni based on:
- Year of passing / Batch
- Current location (city/country)
- Industry or profession
- Company or institution
Events & Reunions
Stay connected through alumni events:
- Browse upcoming reunions and events
- RSVP to events directly on the platform
- View event photos and updates
- Receive notifications for batch-specific events
Mentorship Program
Give back or seek guidance:
- Register as a mentor to guide current students and young alumni
- Sign up as a mentee to receive career advice and support
- Browse mentor profiles by expertise and industry
- Schedule mentorship sessions through the platform
Jobs & Opportunities
Advance your career with alumni connections:
- Post job openings at your organization
- Browse opportunities shared by fellow alumni
- Connect directly with alumni hiring managers
- Share internship and volunteer opportunities
Groups & Communities
Join or create groups based on:
- Batch years or class sections
- Professional interests or industries
- Geographic locations
- Hobbies and special interests
Troubleshooting
The website is loading slowly or not responding
Try the following:
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser or device
- Check your internet connection
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
I'm not receiving email notifications
Check the following:
- Verify your email address is correct in Profile Settings
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Add alumni@prathibhavidyalayam.edu.in to your contacts
- Ensure notification preferences are enabled in Settings
My profile photo won't upload
Ensure your photo meets these requirements:
- File format: JPG, PNG, or GIF
- Maximum file size: 5 MB
- Recommended dimensions: 400x400 pixels or larger
- Square or portrait orientation works best
I found a bug or technical issue
Please report it with these details:
- Description of the issue
- Steps to reproduce the problem
- Browser and device information
- Screenshot (if applicable)
